Tag and disconnect shell connector (9) from disconnect to forward air cleaner blower motor
electrical lead (10).

Tag and disconnect shell connector (11) from line connection.

Remove air cleaner blower relay to bulkhead disconnect branched wiring harness (12) from
driver’s compartment.
For disassembly of wiring harness plug connector and receptacle connector, refer to general mainte-
nance, page 2-371.

Inspect for broken, damaged, or missing parts.

If damaged or missing, replace marker bands. Etch or stamp lead number on new band.

Install air cleaner blower relay to bulkhead disconnect branched wiring harness (12) in driver’s
compartment.
Untag and connect shell connector (11) to line connection.
Untag and connect shell connector (9) to disconnect to forward air cleaner blower motor
electrical lead (10).
Install cable terminal (8) and screw (7) on bulkhead.
Connect plug connector (5) to air cleaner blower relay (6).
Install receptacle connector (2), four washers (4), and four screws (3) on bulkhead.
Connect plug connector (1) to receptacle connector (2).
Wiring harnesses and leads are secured to the hull and components with loop clamps, straps,
clips, ground screws, etc. During installation, make sure the wiring harness or lead is secure
and all hardware is tight.
