INSPECTION/REPAIR

If cab stowage covers are broken, damaged, or missing, repair is by replacement of nex t
higher assembly .

Repair is by replacement of authorized parts (TM 9-2350-238-24P-2) .
REASSEMBLY

Dry cleaning solvent (SD2) is toxic
and flammable. Wear protective gog -
gles and gloves and use only in well-
ventilated areas .
If nonmetallic seal (1) was removed, clea n
residual rubber adhesive from mountin g
surface on back side of lower cab stow-
age cover (2) using dry cleaning solven t
(item 10, appx C) and wire brush .
Apply epoxy resin adhesive (item 2, appx
C) to mounting surface of lower ca b
stowage cover (2) and new nonmetalli c
seal (1). Install new nonmetallic seal o n
back side of lower cab stowage cover .
Install two straight shafts (3), two stow -
age door compartment locks (4), eigh t
machine screws (5), eight new lockwash -
ers (6), and eight hexagon plain nuts (7) .
Install two new Iockwashers (8), two fla t
washers (9) and two machine screw s
(10) .
Install two stowage compartment doo r
handles (11) on lower cab stowage cove r
(2) and secure with two screws (12) .
