The following procedures are writte n

for one seat but apply to both th e

operator’s and rigger’s seats .

Set vehicular seat (1) to highest position .

Disconnect two vertical adjust tensio n

helical extension springs (2) from sea t

post support (3) .

Disconnect other end of two vertical ad-

just tension helical extension springs (2)

and remove from vehicular seat (1) .

Remove two hexagon plain nuts (4), fou r

Iockwashers (5), and two hexagon cap -

screws (6) .

Remove vehicular seat (1) and seat pos t

support (3) as a unit. Separate if neces-

sary for repair of either item .

Remove vehicular safety belt (7) fro m

vehicular seat (1) .
