Attach hoist to turbocharger lifting eye
(25). Lift turbocharger (19) from diesel en-
gine .
Attach engine sling to diesel engine (26).
Attach hoist to engine sling. Remov e
slack from sling cables.
NOT E
If transmission is to be moved, attach
transmission lifting bracket. Attac h
transmission sling to transmissio n
lifting bracket. Attach second hoist to
sling and remove slack .
Remove six hexagon head capscrews (27)
and six Iockwashers (28) securing engine-
to-transmission support (29) to transmis-
sion assembly (30) .
NOT E
Tag all capscrews in steps 18 and 19
to ensure proper installation.
Remove two 1-1/8-in. hexagon head cap-
screws (31), two Iockwashers (32), four
4-in. hexagon head capscrews (33), four
Iockwashers (34), and engine-to-trans-
mission support (29) from diesel engin e
(26) .
Remove nine 1-1/2-in. hexagon head cap-
screws (35), three 2-1/4-in. hexagon hea d
capscrews (36), two 3-1/2-in. capscrews
(37), and 14 Iockwashers (38) securin g
transfer assembly (39) to diesel engin e
(26) .
