Remove three tube reducers (3, 6, and 9)
from bypass return solenoid direct linear
valve (10) .
Remove Iockwire (11), three hexagon hea d
capscrews (12), and bypass return solenoi d
direct linear valve (10).
Remove two hexagon head capscrews (13) ,
two Iockwashers (14), and bypass solenoi d
valve mounting plate (15) .
INSPECTION/REPAI R

Inspect for broken, damaged, or missin g
parts .

Repair is by replacement of authorized parts
(TM 9-2350-238-24P-1) .
INSTALLIZATIO N

Install bypass solenoid valve mounting plat e
(1), two new Iockwashers (2), and two hexa-
gon head capscrews (3) .
Install bypass return solenoid direct linear
valve (4), three hexagon head capscrews
(5), and secure with new Iockwire (6).
Install three tube reducers (7) in bypass
return solenoid direct linear valve (4).
install new preformed packing (8) and con-
nect transmission to solenoid nonmetallic
hose assembly (9) to tube reducer (7).
Install new preformed patting (10) and con-
nect transmission to solenoid nonmetallic
hose assembly (11) to tube reducer (7).
Install new preformed packing (12) and con-
nect governor to bypass solenoid nonmetallic
hose assembly (13) to tube reducer (7).
