Ensure weapon is clear of ammunition and

barrel is free from obstruction in accordance

with TM 9-1005-213-10 (WP 0131). Failure

to comply may result in personnel death or

injury.

1. Check gun mount/pintle for damaged or missing

parts. Check for tightness of all fasteners and

operating parts.

Damaged, binding, or

missing parts/pins.

2. Operate ammunition box locking latch. When

locked, ammunition box must be sturdy and secure.
