MANIFOLD HEATER FUEL FILTER, ELEMENT, AND INPUT FUEL LINE REPLACEMENT (Sheet 4 of 8)

Fuel Filter Replacement (Sheet 4 of 5)

INSTALLATION:

1.

Coat threads of nipple (A) and adapter (B) with

sealing compound (Item 27, Appendix D).

2.

Using 1/2 inch wrench, install and secure adapter

(B) to input port of fuel filter (C).

3.

Using 7/16 inch wrench, hold nipple (A) and install

fuel filter (C) securely onto nipple (A).

4.

Aline fuel filter (C) and solenoid valve (D) as

shown on illustration.

5.

Position solenoid valve (D) and fuel filter (C) with

attached fittings to brackets on engine.

6.

Using screwdriver, secure fuel filter (C) to bracket

with two screws, new lockwashers, and flat

washers (E).

7.

Using 5/16 inch wrench, secure solenoid valve (D)

to bracket with two bolt and washers (F).
