ENGINE COOLING FAN SHROUD REPLACEMENT (Sheet 2 of 8)

REMOVAL:

1.

Using 1/2 inch socket, remove ten bolts (A) securing two cover plates (B).

2.

Remove two cover plates (B).

3.

Using 9/16 inch socket, remove eight bolts and lockwashers (C) securing fan guards to shroud (D).

Throw

lockwashers away.

4.

Remove fan guards (E) from shroud (D).

5.

Using 1/2 inch socket, remove two bolts (F).

NOTE

To gain access to bolts (G) and nuts (HN reach through holes in shroud rails.

6.

Using 1/2 inch socket, remove two bolts (G).

7.

Using 1/2 inch socket, remove 12 nuts (H).

Go on to Sheet 3
