TRACK ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT (Sheet 8 of 10)
27. Speed engine just enough so person pulling on rope can steer track up over all support rollers and compensating idler
wheel.
28. When track is over compensating idler wheel, is tight around sprocket, and is ready to be connected, shut down
engine.
Apply parking brake (TM 9-2350-260-10).
29. Shorten track adjusting link as much as possible (TM 9-2350-260-10).
30. Using crowbar lift lower end of track up.
31. Connect track connecting fixtures (F) to sides of
track.
Make sure fixtures are around end pins (H)
and remove rope (D).
32. Using tool handle, tighten up both fixtures (F) until
end connector (G) can be started over track end
pins (H).
