REPLACE FLOOR PLATES (M1064 ONLY) — Continued

INSTALLATION
WARNING
Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These
compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you
dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat.
Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes.
Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves.
1.
If pads (19
) through (
23) or seals (24) and (25) were rem oved, apply l ight coat of adhesive to crossm em ber mating
surfaces. Allow
surfaces to becom e tacky. Install pads and seals on c rossmenbers and p ress su rfaces together firm ly.
2.
Install guard (18), two screws (17), washers (16), and new locknuts (15) on rear floor plate (14).
3.
Place rear floor plate (14) in carrier. Secure with two lined washers (13) and screws (12).
4.
Place left front floor plate (11) and right front floor plate (10) in carrier. Secure with nine lined washers (9), one screw
(8), and eight eyebolts (7).
5.
Install guard (3) on hull with screw (4), washer (5), and new locknut (6).
6.
Install screw (1) and washer (2) on guard (3).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Install personnel heater floor duct, if removed. (WP 0617 00).
2.
Raise and lock ramp (see your -10).
