INSTALLATION

NOTE

If PLGR bracket is being installed in vehicle for the first time, go to Step 1. If PLGR bracket is

being installed in previously-modified vehicle, go to Step 4.

NOTE

The preferred mount is a horizontal mount in upper left corner of battery box. If more

appropriate, a vertical mount can be used.

1.

Position plastic bracket (9) on battery box (10) so that single hole is approximately 4.0 in. (10.2 cm) from top of battery

door and approximately 2.0 in. (5.1 cm) from left edge of battery door. Using plastic bracket as a template, mark

locations for five holes (13). Remove bracket.

2.

Using drill and 1/4 in. (0.64 cm) drill bit, drill five through holes (13) in battery box (10).

3.

Install vehicle batteries into battery compartment (WP 0349 00).

4.

Install plastic bracket (9), five socket head capscrews (12), and new self-locking nuts (11) on battery box (10).
