WARNING

To avoid personnel injury and damage to equipment, route cable 4W6 in position clear of

personnel heater.

12. Route cable 4W6 (4) behind personnel heater (22). Install rubber grommet (5) in rear hole in side of battery box (9).

Pass cable 4W6 through rubber grommet.

WARNING

To avoid personnel injury when installing positive cable, avoid any contact of positive battery

cable with surrounding metal surfaces. Contact can cause battery arcing or explosion. Wear

safety glasses.

CAUTION

To prevent damage to equipment, ensure power is turned off at power distribution assembly

(PDA) before battery connections are made.

CAUTION

To avoid damage to power distribution assembly (PDA), do not connect cable 4W6 to PDA prior

to installation of terminal lugs on battery terminals.

13. Remove battery terminals from battery posts before installation of cable 4W6 (4).

14. Install terminal lug (7) of cable 4W6 (4) and nut (6) on positive terminal of battery (8).

15. Install terminal lug (1) of cable 4W6 (4) and nut (3) on negative terminal of battery (2).

16. Install battery terminals on battery posts.
