REPAIR/REPLACE MORTAR FIRE CONTROL SYSTEM (MFCS) CABLES

NOTE

Steps 1 - 7 apply to cable 4W6, power connection cable to vehicle batteries.

1.

Remove battery terminals from battery posts before removal of cable 4W6 (4).

2.

Remove nut (3) and terminal lug (1) of cable 4W6 (4) from negative terminal of battery (2).

3.

Remove nut (6) and terminal lug (7) of cable 4W6 (4) from positive terminal of battery (8).

4.

Install battery terminals on battery posts.

5.

Carefully pull cable 4W6 (4) through hole in side of battery box (9). Remove rubber grommet (5).

6.

Follow route of cable 4W6 (4) behind personnel heater and along bulkhead of vehicle. Remove tie straps from cable.
