INSTALLATION

1.

If removed, install four new helical coil inserts (1) to welded standoffs (2) (WP 0812 01).

WARNING

Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These

compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you

dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat.

Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes.

Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves.

Position PDA (12) under four welded standoffs (2) and align holes. Apply sealing compound to four socket head

capscrews (13) and install new lockwashers (14) and capscrews. TORQUE CAPSCREWS TO 32 FT-LB (43 N·M).

Use torque wrench.

3.

Using screw (5), install grounding strap (6) to PDA (12).

4.

Install other end of grounding strap (6) to vehicle standoff, using internal-tooth washer (7) and machine screw (8).

5.

Connect power cable 3W6 (4) to J4 connector (9) on PDA (12).

6.

Connect power/data cable 3W1 (3) to J2 and J3 connectors (11) and (10) on PDA (12).
