REPAIR/REPLACE COMMANDER’S INTERFACE BRACKET ASSEMBLY

REPAIR

1.

Replace defective parts as authorized by TM 9-1220-248-23&P and TM 9-2350-277-24P.

INSTALLATION

1.

If removed, install four new threaded screw inserts (4) into top mounting block (5) (WP 0812 01).

WARNING

Adhesive, primer, sealant compounds, and isopropyl alcohol are toxic and flammable. These

compounds are toxic to eyes, skin, and respiratory tract. Continued exposure can make you

dizzy and irritate your eyes and throat.

Always use in well ventilated areas, away from heat, sparks, and flames. Do not breathe fumes.

Do not allow into contact with skin and eyes. Use goggles or face shield and protective gloves.

2.

If bottom mounting block (13) is removed, apply sealing compound to four socket head capscrews (8).

3.

Install bottom mounting block (13) and four socket head capscrews (8) to top mounting block (5).

4.

If removed, install new spring hook (7) to safety lanyard (1).

5.

If removed, install safety lanyard (1) to weldment (6).

6.

If removed, install three new threaded screw inserts (12) to bottom mounting block (13) (WP 0812 01).
