REMOVAL

CAUTION

To prevent damage to equipment, ensure power is removed from system before power

distribution assembly (PDA) is removed.

1.

Disconnect power/data cable 3W1 (3) from J2 and J3 connectors (11) and (10) on power distribution assembly (PDA)

(12).

2.

Disconnect power cable 3W6 (4) from J4 connector (9) on PDA (12).

3.

Remove machine screw (8), internal-tooth washer (7), and grounding strap (6) from vehicle standoff.

4.

Remove screw (5) and grounding strap (6) from PDA (12).

WARNING

To ease in the removal of power distribution assembly (PDA), use hand to support PDA. Use

care to avoid injury to personnel or damage to equipment.

5.

Remove four socket head capscrews (13), lockwashers (14), and PDA (12) from four welded standoffs (2). Discard

lockwashers.

6.

If damaged, remove four helical coil inserts (1) from four welded standoffs (2) (WP 0812 01).

REPAIR

1.

Replace defective parts as authorized by TM 9-1220-248-23&P.
