e. Testing
NOTE
The main accumulator assembly must be tested following repair before installation in the vehicle.
Main accumulator assembly must be charged to 500- 50 psi (3448 -345 kPa) with dry nitrogen to
perform test.

Plug ports in the bottom dust protective cap (28) of main accumulator assembly (3).

Submerge main accumulator assembly (3) completely in water for a period of ten minutes. There must be no
evidence of leakage during this period. If there is a leakage, release nitrogen pressure, disassemble, in-
spect, repair, assemble, service (TM 9-2350-311-20-2), and retest before installation.

Remove main accumulator assembly (3) from water and dry thoroughly. If main accumulator assembly is to
be stored or transported, relieve all nitrogen pressure.
