Equipment Condition

Accumulator assembly (primary) removed

a. Disassembly

Remove two cap screws (1) and retaining strap (2).

Primary accumulator assembly contains high pressure nitrogen. Do not disassemble until all pres-

sure is relieved to avoid injury from trapped high pressure.

Remove air valve cap (3) and loosen check valve nut (4) on air relay valve (5) to release nitrogen precharge

pressure from accumulator cap (6) on primary accumulator assembly (7).

Remove air relay valve (5).
