7. Install stator cam (21) into stator until firmly seated against stator thrust washer.

8. Install 18 new screws (20) into stator assembly. Torque 18 screws (20) to 10 to 13 lb--ft (13.6 to 17.6 N

9. Flare hollow end of 18 screws (20) until they substantially fill counterbore in stator cam (21). Use either a

steel ball and flat punch or a conical--point punch with an 80--degree included angle.
