4-4. Removal or Installation Instructions
Disconnect
1. Disconnect fuel hose (A) from fuel pump outlet
adapter. Collect fuel in a suitable container and discard.
2. Disconnect fuel pump inlet tube nuts (B).
3. Remove two screws (C), lock washers, one flat
washer, and one clip. Pull check valve away from
mounting bracket as necessary, and remove fuel inlet
tube.
Connect
1. Position fuel inlet tube on check valve and fuel pump.
Loosely install two cap screws (C), lock washers, one
flat washer, and one clip securing check valve to
mounting bracket.
2. Connect fuel inlet tube nuts (B).
3. Tighten cap screws (C).
4. Connect fuel hose (A) to fuel pump outlet adapter.
