Disassembly.

FRAME 1

NOTE

Two types of oil pressure regulator (1) have been

used on these engines.

Disassembly procedure is

the same for both except as noted.

1.

Unscrew and take out two plugs (2 and 3), two gaskets (4), spring (5),

spring (6), and two plungers (7).

2.

If working on early model oil pressure regulator, take out pipe plug (8).

3.

If working on late model oil pressure regulator, take out pipe plug (9).
