1.
Check to see that six screws (1), three nuts (2), and nine lockwashers (3)
are not stripped.
If screws, nuts or lockwashers are damaged, throw them
away and get new ones.
2.
Put a light coat of engine lubricating oil on crankshaft front oil seal (4).
3.
Using arbor press and pressing plate, press crankshaft front oil seal (4) in
from front of timing gear cover (5).
Lip of crankshaft front oil seal must
face out.
Stop pressing when crankshaft front oil seal is flush with top edge
of crankshaft front oil seal bore (6).
