Place idler gear assembly (1) in soft jaw vise.

Remove three screws (14), lockwashers (15), washers (16), and test fixture plate (13).

Remove nut (12), screw (11), and two test fixture plates (10 and 9).

Remove idler gear assembly (1) from vise.

Install retainer (17) and six new nylon patch screws (18) on idler gear assembly (l).

Tighten screws (18) to 30 lb-ft (41 N•m).
