THROTTLE AIR CYLINDER REMOVAL/INSTALLATION (CONT).

(3)

Adjust link adapter (8) so that distance from

center of screw (9) to center of link adapter

pivot point (3) is 7 in. (177.8 mm).

(4)

Tighten two speed control lever screws (10).

(5)

Connect air lines (11 and 12) to throttle

aircylinder(4).

(6)

Connect spring (13) from air cylinder

bracket (14) to speed control lever (15).

Follow-on Maintenance.

(1)

Connect batteries (TM 9-2320-279-20).

(2)

Start engine and check engine operation of throttle air cylinder (TM 9-2320-279-10).
