Check for shorted negative rectifiers.
Connect
ohmmeter to each of the three negative rectifier
leads in accordance with figure 2-4.
If the ohmmeter reading is less than 100,000
ohms ,
replace drive end housing assembly in
accordance with paragraph 3-3, and go to step 8.
