For M1068A3, do Steps 3 – 10.
For M577A3, do Steps 11 – 17.
3.
Continue routing RCU cable (29) and power harness (28) through clamp (60).
4.
Continue routing RCU cable (29) down through clamp (54) to RCU/PDA bracket assembly.
5.
Continue routing power harness (28) down through clamp (47) to the auxiliary radio power
connector location.
6.
Route PDA power harness lead up through clamp (47) to PDA cradle location.
7.
Remove screw (66) and lockwasher (64) securing existing loop clamp and wiring harness to hull.
Retain hardware for re-installation.
8.
Install power harness ground lead (65) over existing loop clamp and wiring harness.
Secure with
screw (66) and lockwasher (64).
9.
Stow RCU to PDA cable within RCU/PDA bracket assembly and secure it with a tie strap.
10. Tighten all hardware securing all clamps and cables.
