12-in. Adjustable wrench

7/8-in. Open end wrench

1/8-in. Allen wrench

7/16-in. Open end wrench

SUPPLIES:

Lockwashers (2 required)

Pipe tape (Item 19, Appendix D)

REFERENCE: LO-12

PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES:

Zero hydraulic pressure (page 3-70.5)

REMOVAL:

1.

Use allen wrench to remove set screw (A) from ball valve handle (B).

2.

Use adjustable wrench to hold ball valve (C) and use 7/8-in. wrench to disconnect hose (D).

3.

Use adjustable wrench to hold ball valve (C) and use 7/8-in. wrench to disconnect hose (E).

4.

Hold ball valve (C) and use adjustable wrench to remove retaining nut (F) from front of ball valve (C). Remove

ball valve (C) from bracket (G).

5.

Using a 7/16 inch wrench, remove two screws (H), and lockwashers (J) and remove bracket (G).
