HEU HYDRAULIC PRESSURE GAGE REPLACEMENT (Sheet 1 of 1)

TOOLS:

Strap wrench

SUPPLIES:

Drip pans (suitable containers)

Rags (Item 12, Appendix D)

Preformed packing (as required)

REFERENCE: LO-12

PRELIMINARY PROCEDURES:

Zero hydraulic pressure (page 3-70.5)

NOTE

Replacement procedures for the manual control valve pressure gage and the

dual filter pressure gage are the same.

REMOVAL:

1.

Use strap wrench to remove pressure gage (A) from dual filter housing (B).

2.

Remove preformed packing (C).

INSTALLATION:

1.

Install new preformed packing (C) onto pressure gage (A).

2.

Use strap wrench to install gage (A) into dual filter housing (B).

3.

Service hydraulic reservoir as needed (LO-12).

4.

Check for hydraulic leaks and correct as necessary.
