HEU BALL VALVE REPLACEMENT (sheet 2 of 2)

INSTALLATION:

1.

Position bracket (A) and use 7/16 in. wrench to install two screws (B), and new lockwashers (C).

2.

Position ball valve (D) in bracket (A). Hold ball valve (D) and use adjustable wrench to install retaining nut (E)

onto front of ball valve (D).

3.

Use adjustable wrench to hold ball valve (D) and use a 7/8 -in. wrench to connect hose fitting (F).

4.

Use adjustable wrench to hold ball valve (D) and use a 7/8- in. wrench to connect hose fitting (G).

5.

Position ball valve handle (H) on ball valve (D) and use allen wrench to tighten set screw (J).

6.

Bleed hydraulic system (page 3-72).

7.

Check for leaks and correct as necessary.

8.

Service hydraulic reservoir (LO-12).
