Lock boring machine control levers (1) in back position with locking latch (2).

(Refer to para 4-15c.)

2.

Take auger-to-holder pin (3) out of auger (4).

3.

Lift cable (5) out of auger (4).

4.

Operate rear winch to take up cable. (Refer to para 4-15d.)

5.

Secure winch from operation.
