Install mounting bracket (Figure 5, Item 7) on engine (Figure 5, Item 8) with four lockwashers
(Figure

9) and screws (Figure 5, Item 10).
6.
Install alternator (Figure 5, Item 12) on mounting bracket (Figure 5, Item 7) with two screws
(Figure
5,
Item
11), washers (Figure 5, Item 6), and locknuts (Figure 5, Item 5). Finger tighten locknuts.
7.
Install washer (Figure 5, Item 3) and adjusting link (Figure 5, Item 13) on alternator (Figure 5, Item 12) with
screw assembled washer (Figure 5, Item 4), washer (Figure 5, Item 2), lockwasher (Figure 5, Item 1), and
screw (Figure 5, Item 14).
