REMOVAL
NOTE
Removal of right and left brackets is the same. Left brackets are
shown.
1.
Remove screw (figure 1, item 5), lockwasher (figure 1, item 4), and left mounting bracket
(figure 1, item 3) from rear shackle mounting bracket (figure 1, item 2). Discard lockwasher
(figure 1, item 4).
2.
Remove three nuts (figure 1, item 1), screws (figure 1, item 6), left mounting bracket (figure 1, item 7), and
star washer (figure 1, item 8) from rear frame section (figure 1, item 9) and bracket (figure 1, item 7).
3.
Repeat steps 1 and 2 for removal of right mounting brackets (figure 1, items 3 and 7).

Blackout tail lamps and brackets removed
(TM 9-2320-283-20).
Stop/tail lamp and brackets removed
(TM 9-2320-283-20).
Trailer receptacle removed (TM 9-2320-283-20).
