Adhesives, solvents, and sealing compounds can burn easily, can give off harmful
vapors, and are harmful to skin and clothing.
To avoid injury or death, keep away
from open fire and use in well-ventilated area.
If adhesive, solvent, or sealing
compound gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.
NOTE
Install gaskets as noted prior to removal.
1.
Apply silicone sealant to both sides of spacer (20).
2.
Position gasket (21) and gasket (19) on spacer (20).
3.
Apply silicone sealant to gasket (19) and gasket (21).
NOTE
Install valve as noted prior to removal.
4.
With the aid of an assistant, position gasket (21), spacer (20), gasket (19), valve (18), and gasket (17) on
water tank (23) and flange (22).
NOTE
All torque values will need to be verified and retorqued if necessary after a minimum 24
hours.
Retorque screws to torque valve in Step (5).
5.
Install eight washers (16), lockwashers (15), and screws (14) on water tank (17) and flange (16).
Tighten
screws (14) to 18 lb-ft (24.4 N•m).
