Hydraulic oil may be hot.
Ensure hydraulic oil is cool prior to removal.
Failure to
comply may result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
•
Hydraulic reservoir contains approximately nine gallons of hydraulic fluid.
•
With the aid of an assistant, alternate drain pans as required to keep drain pans from
overflowing.
1.
Remove cap (1) and preformed packing (2) from fitting (3).
Discard preformed packing.
2.
Allow oil to drain completely from hydraulic reservoir (4).
3.
Lightly lubricate preformed packing (2) with clean oil, and install preformed packing (2) and cap (1) on
fitting (3).
