Do not stand between vehicle and rear hard lift assembly or under hard lift

assembly when removing hard lift assembly from brackets.

Hard lift assembly may

swing toward vehicle or fall, causing injury or death to personnel.

•

Hard lift assembly weighs approximately 1,000 lb. (454 kg).

Do not attempt to lift or

move hard lift assembly without the aid of an assistant and/or suitable lifting device.

Failure to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.

•

All personnel must stand clear during lifting operations.

A swinging or shifting load

may cause injury or death to personnel.

NOTE

Note locations of screws prior to removal to ensure proper installation.

With the aid of an assistant and a suitable lifting device, remove eight locknuts (8), four screws (9), four

screws (10), and two brackets (11) from frame (12).

Discard locknuts.

6.

Using a suitable lifting device, remove rear hard lift assembly (2) from vehicle.
