REMOVAL

CAUTION

Vehicle must be unloaded prior to removing transverse beam. Failure to comply

may result in damage to equipment.

NOTE

Both transverse beams are removed the same way.

No. 4 axle shown.

1.

Remove jack (1) and jack base plate (2) from stowage.

2.

Position jack (1) and jack base plate (2) under rear crossmember (3) of vehicle.

3.

Raise vehicle approximately 2 in. (5 cm).

4.

Support rear crossmember (3) with two jackstands (4).

5.

Remove jack (1) and jack base plate (2) from under rear crossmember (3) of vehicle.
