Trailer must be supported by blocking or support stands placed under axle or frame
throughout maintenance procedure. Failure to comply may result in death or injury to
personnel. Seek medical attention in the event of an injury.
FRONT SPRING HANGER REMOVAL
1.
Place lifting device under vehicle on side where front spring hanger (Figure 1, Item 1) is being removed. Use
lifting device to raise trailer. Place suitable support under front corner of vehicle.
2.
Lower vehicle until weight of trailer rests on support at the front corner. Some weight will be on lifting device.
