(Figure 18, Item 5) as one assembly.

Lubricate splines of S-cam shaft (Figure 19, Item 3) with grease.

WARNING
Wear proper eye protection and use care when removing and installing retaining rings.
Retaining rings are under spring tension and can act as projectiles when released. Failure to
comply may result in injury or death to personnel.

Install washer (Figure 19, Item 4), slack adjuster (Figure 19, Item 5), washer (Figure 19, Item 2), and retaining
ring (Figure 19, Item 1) on S-cam shaft (Figure 19, Item 3).
