Remove four long self-tapping screws (Figure 7, Item 1) from retainer assembly (Figure 7, Item 4). Discard
retainer assembly.
WARNING
Wear proper eye protection and use care when removing and installing springs, retaining
rings, and snap rings. Springs, retaining rings, and snap rings are under spring tension and
can act as projectiles when released. Failure to comply may result in injury or death to
personnel.

Remove retaining ring (Figure 7, Item 6) and washer (Figure 7, Item 5) from S-cam shaft (Figure 7, Item 7).
CAUTION
Do not interchange camshafts from side-to-side, changing camshafts from side-to-side could
cause damage to equipment.
15.
Remove S-cam shaft (Figure 7, Item 7) and washer (Figure 7, Item 3) from spider (Figure 7, Item 2).
16.
Remove retainer assembly (Figure 7, Item 4) from spider (Figure 7, Item 2).
