With the aid of an assistant, use lifting device and raise drawbar (Figure 16, Item 1) into position against trailer
frame.
WARNING
Keep hands and fingers out of spring pinhole or injury to personnel may result.
NOTE
Care should be taken not to drive bushings out of drawbar structure.

Install drawbar (Figure 17, Item 6) on trailer frame (Figure 17, Item 3) with two spacers (Figure 17, Item 5),
pins (Figure 17, Item 4), washers (Figure 17, Item 2), and castle nuts (Figure 17, Item 7). Tighten castle nuts
to 35 lb-ft (47 N·m). Tighten to next alignment slot.

Install two cotter pins (Figure 17, Item 1) in pins (Figure 17, Item 4).

Support drawbar structure (Figure 17, Item 6) with jackstand.
6.
Install air bag (Figure 18, Item 1) on drawbar (Figure 18, Item 2) with two screws (Figure 18, Item 4) and
lockwashers (Figure 18, Item 3).
