Drawbar shaft weighs 187 lbs (85 kg). Attach a suitable lifting device prior to removal. Failure
to comply may result in injury or death to personnel.

Remove pin assembly (Figure 8, Item 1) from tube assembly (Figure 8, Item 3).

Attach lifting device to tube assembly (Figure 8, Item 3).

With the aid of an assistant, steady tube assembly (Figure 8, Item 3) while pulling tube assembly out of drawbar
structure (Figure 8, Item 2).
9.
Using lifting device, lower tube assembly (Figure 8, Item 3).
NOTE
Perform next two steps if replacing tube assembly.
10.
Remove drawbar lift handles (Figure 8, Item 5) and tow ring (Figure 8, Item 6) (WP
0102).
11.
Remove plate (Figure 8, Item 4) from tube assembly (Figure 8, Item 3) (WP
0102).
12.
Remove two wiper seals (Figure 9, Item 1) from drawbar structure (Figure 9, Item 3). Discard seals.
