DURING
Engine Oil Level
Check
NOTE
•
Engine oil level check method
should be used only when it is
impractical to wait at least
two hours with the engine stopped.
•
Check oil level during extended
missions at least every eight hours
with engine running. Verify oil level,
using engine stopped method as
soon as possible.
•
Engine must be idling for at least
five minutes, and oil temperature
must be less than 240°F (116°C).
1. Park vehicle on level surface.
2. Open engine deck door (WP 0028).
