REMOVAL:

NOTE

Tag oil cooler tubes as they are removed for later installation.

Removal of left and

right side oil cooler tubes is the same.

1.

Using 1-5/8 inch wrench, hold two adapters (A)

one at a time and, using 1-1/2 inch wrench, loosen

two jamnuts (B) one at a time.

2.

Using 1-5/8 inch wrench, remove two adapters (A)

and gaskets (C) from oil cooler (D).

3.

Throw gaskets (C) away.

NOTE

Upon removing tubes and fittings,

seal

powerplant

openings

with

plastic barrier material (Item 41,

Appendix D) and masking tape (Item

57,

Appendix

D)

to

prevent

unnecessary exposure to moisture

and contamination.

Remove plastic

barrier material and masking tape

when installing tubes and fittings.
