could be damaged.

Raise engine speed slowly.

Is voltage between 27.5 and 28.5 volts?

Run engine at 900 RPM and turn on electrical equipment

(lights and radio).

Does voltage vary less than ± 0.5 volts?

Troubleshooting (WP 0021 00).

Verify no faults found.

Adjust voltage regulator setting (WP 0229 00).

Start engine and run at fast idle (800 RPM) with no

electrical equipment/load.

Is voltage higher than battery voltage?
