REPLACE FINAL DRIVE — Continued

Secure lifting bar (1) to final drive (2) with two sprocket mounting screws (3).

5.

Attach lifting device of at least 165 lb (75 kg) capacity to lifting bar (1) and position final drive (2) on hull (6).

6.

Apply antiseize compound to threads of 17 screws (5).

7.

Secure final drive (2) to hull (6) with 17 screws (5) and washers (4). TIGHTEN SCREWS TO 75-85 LB-FT (102-115

N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench.

8.

Remove two screws (3) and lifting bar (1) from final drive (2).

FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS

Install drive sprocket on final drive (WP 0382 00).

Install track on drive sprocket (WP 0366 00).

Install track cover (WP 0365 00).

Inst all speedom eter cable on adapter (left final d rive only) (WP 0 248

00).

Install hull front access cover (left final drive only) (WP 0429 00).

Close power plant front access door (see your -10).

Raisetrimvane(seeyour-10)

Road test carrier (WP 0120 00) to check final drive.

Stop/shutdown engine (see your -10).
