REPLACE DIFFERENTIAL STEERING BRAKE LEVERS — Continued

CLEAN, INSPECT, AND REPAIR
1.
Check levers. Replace levers with cracked or worn clevis pin holes.
2.
Check levers. Replace levers with damaged or chipped splines.
INSTALLATION
1.
Install two levers (3) on differential brake lever shafts. Secure with two screws (2) and new locknuts (1).
2.
TIGHTEN NUTS (1) TO 360-420 LB-IN (41-48 N·M) TORQUE. Use torque wrench.
3.
Connect two differential links (WP 0393 00).
4.
Adjust linkage (WP 0387 00).
5.
Connect two return springs (WP 0387 00).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Close power plant front access door and raise trim vane (see your -10).
2.
Operate steering levers to check that differential steering brake levers operate properly.
