Cotter pin (4)

Trim vane release removed from trim vane (WP 0424 00)
Engine stopped (see your -10)
Carrier blocked (see your -10)
DISASSEMBLY
1.
Remove cotter pin (13), straight pin (12), and cover (2) from housing (8). Discard cotter pin.
2.
Remove cotter pin (4), headed pin (3), and cover (2) from clevis (1). Discard cotter pin.
3.
Remove cover (2) and spring (11) from housing (8).
4.
Remove clevis (1) and nut (5) from clevis (6).
5.
Remove cotter pin (10), headed pin (9), and clevis (6) from trim vane release (7). Discard cotter pin.
6.
Remove cotter pin (15), straight pin (14), and release (7) from housing (8). Discard cotter pin.
7.
Clean parts with solvent, cleaning compound.
8.
Check spring for corrosion, distortion, weakness, cracks, and breaks. Replace damaged spring.
