Check cover and housing for corrosion, distortion, cracks, and missing parts. Repair or replace damaged parts.
10. Check parts for corrosion, distortion, cracks, breaks, and missing parts. Repair or replace damaged and missing parts.
ASSEMBLY
1.
Install clevis (1) on cover (2). Secure with headed pin (3) and new cotter pin (4).
2.
Install nut (5) and clevis (6) on clevis (1).

Inst all r elease ( 7) on housing (8). Secure with straight pin (

) and new cotter pin (1

4.
Place spring (11) in housing (8). Secure cover (2) to housing with straight pin (12) and new cotter pin (13).

Raise cover (2). I nstall clevis (6) on r elease (7). Secure w ith headed pin (

) and new cotter pin (1

).
FOLLOW-THROUGH STEPS
1.
Install trim vane release on trim vane (WP 0424 00).
