Removal

Remove power pack gage (1).

If necessary for replacement, remove preformed packing (2).
NOTE
Clean around filter element recess before removing filter element. Dirt may fall into power pack res-
ervoir and contaminate hydraulic fluid.

Use socket wrench to remove filter element (3).
WARNING
Adhesives and solvents can burn easily, can give off harmful vapors, and are harmful to skin and
clothing. To avoid injury or death, keep away from open fire and use in well-ventilated area. If adhe-
sive or solvent gets on skin or clothing, wash immediately with soap and water.

Clean filter element (3) in cleaning compound.

Installation

Use socket wrench to install filter element (3).

If removed, apply adhesive to preformed packing (2) and install on power pack gage (1).

Install power pack gage (1) in power pack reservoir.
