Removal

NOTE

Refer to steps 1 and 2 to disconnect wire 819B on M109A2/M109A3 howitzers. Refer to step 3 to

disconnect wire 819B on M109A4/M109A5 howitzers.

Disconnect wire 819B (1) at gunner’s selector switch box assembly quick-disconnect (2).

Remove hex nut (3), flat washer (4), and connector (1), wire 819B, at electrical contact assembly (5).

Disconnect

wire 819B (1) from clutch valve (6).

Disconnect wire 825A (7) at solenoid valve connector (8).

Disconnect connector (9) from gunner’s selector switch box assembly (10).
